Of all the factors involved in the creation of a finished diamond, polish relies most on the talent and skill of the cutter - polishing a diamond is an art. Symmetry is a measure of how balanced and even a diamond's shape and facets are.

Polish and Symmetry are both measured on a scale that ranges from Poor thru Excellent. We at Jewelryzone feel that any stones with a Polish or Symmetry below the Good level are not suitable for fine jewelry and, as such, we do not list them.
